Amazing lightness, and true performance at it's finest. HED Carbon Fat rims utilize a ribbed, single-wall design to maximize stiffness and minimize rotational weight, all on a tubeless-ready platform. The V-shaped channels near each side of the rim allow the tire bead to set inside, just right, which is especially helpful for tubeless setup during initial inflation. No rim strips or tape are required for tubeless. This saves about 100 grams per wheel. Just mount the tires, and add some sealant.
